THANK YOU to the more than 3,350 #Boulder voters who used the nation’s first online petitioning system to help us cross the minimum threshold of 3,336 digital signatures! We’re not done yet—we want as many people as possible to finish signing before June 4 to demonstrate the broad community support needed to legally require Boulder’s City Council to place the Bedrooms Are For People Act on the November 2021 ballot for voters to decide on.
This would make Boulder the first city in the country to empower voters to consider reforming exclusionary home occupancy laws via a resident-initiated ballot measure! Our volunteers are forever grateful to the thousands of people in 2020 and 2021 who have supported our efforts to expand access to housing in Boulder—thank you all so much!!!
